Here's my BIG project!

I work for the greatest company EVER and they have built me a new Infant room to accomodate all the new babies that are on my waiting list! Thought I'd use my trusty Cricut and DS to decorate! If you click on the bold lettering it will take you directly to that page with details and more pictures (close-ups, even!)...

This is the vinyl lettering that is in the crib area:

This is the vinyl lettering that is on the outside wall (hallway leading to the whole child care center):

I made all the Nursery Rhymes/Stories out of paper and used Cricut markers for details. They are all laminated, so you may see a glare from the flash. I am considering doing these in colored vinyl, but maybe we'll see how long these last first. They were a lot of work!

The crib side of the room has "The Three Little Pigs".

This is the opposite wall of the "Pigs". The left side (kitchen area) is the "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" and the right side is "Little Red Riding Hood" (more crib area).

The left side is "There was an Old Lady". This is going to be the play area and diaper table. The right side is "Jack & the Beanstalk" and is in the kitchen area of the room.

(see "Older Posts" or click on links for details on each decoration).

The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time...
Fifer Pig, sings, "I build my house of straw, I build my house of hay, I toot my flute, I don't give a hoot, I play around all day."

House of straw:

The Fiddler Pig sings, "I build my house of sticks, I build my house of twigs. With a hey diddle diddle, I play my fiddle, and dance all kinds of jigs."

House of Sticks:

The dour third pig, named the Practical Pig, sings, "I build my house of stone, I build my house of bricks. I have no chance to sing and dance, because work and play don't mix." Piper and Fiddler are openly contemptuous of their brother but he reacts with mature self-confidence, shaking his trowel at them and singing, "You can play and laugh and fiddle. Don't think you can make me sore. I'll be safe and you'll be sorry when the wolf comes to your door."

House of Bricks:

Who Afraid of the Big, Bad Wolf?
Used MYCM cart and markers for this.

Little Red Riding Hood

Used MYCM cart.

Little Red (a bit of glare again from the lamination). I used stickers for her basket of flowers.

The big, bad wolf dressed up as Grandma. Did use Mrs. Claus' clothes for Grandma (PDDU cart).

Goldilocks & the Three Bears

Another wall for the new Infant room:

Goldilocks:

Papa Bear:

Mamma Bear:

Baby Bear:

Jack and the Beanstalk

The whole crew: Jack:
The Giant! (Excuse the glare... I laminated all of them for durability.)

The golden egg:

Cage:

Thought this would be cute in the kitchen area of the new room. Used MYCM for everything.

There Was An Old Lady....

Wall decorations for the new Infant Room... Let's start with "There Was An Old Lady, who lived in a shoe"

Used MYCM for shoe, lady, and some kids. Babies from GP.

This will be over the diaper changing area, hopefully it will keep those babies occupied while they are getting changed!

Through the Eyes of a Child!

I made these entry signs from vinyl for each classroom: Infant, Pre-Toddler, Toddler, and Preschool. Used George and SB (for flourish)

"See the wisdom of the ages, but look at the world through the eyes of a child."
This is on the outside wall of the new infant room. I used teardrop (thanks Gumbah for loaning it to me!) and WIMG and M&F for butterflies.

Shhh... Babies counting sheep

Vinyl for the new Infant room at work. Used Jasmine, PDDU, & GS. Thank you, Gumbah for letting me borrow your Jasmine cart!

Ordinarily, it should read "Shhh... Baby's counting sheep" but since this room will have 12 babies in it... I thought this spelling was more appropriate! Let's hope that more than one will be counting sleep at a time!
